For decades the image of Lenin stood as a symbol of Communism, and the political reach of the Soviet Union.  Since the Fall of the Soviet Union Lenin Statues all over the world have been destroyed.  Of the remaining Lenin Statues, these are the northern and southern most Lenins.

There were 1320 Lenin Statues in Ukraine at the fall of the Soviet Union. This is the last one standing and is located inside the village of Chernobyl, and within the Chernobyl Disaster Exclusion Zone. It will be dangerously radioactive for thousands of years.

Located within the courtyard of a factory in an industrial part of Odessa, this Lenin escaped its fate and was turned into a convincing Darth Vader statue by artist Alex Milov.
